• The invention refers to a non-invasive device for early detection of internal bleeding or hematoma, using several wavelengths of infrared light, delivered from a source that is attached to the body and covers a large area. The same device will have capabilities to measure the back reflected/scattered light by at least one detector. Consists of a consumable component (sticker like that includes means for light handling, that is the interface with the body) connected to a reusable device (consists of light source, detectors and microprocessor unit). The system continuously monitors changes in the spectrum of the collected light to detect internal bleeding.
